ASMR weft prep • Almost all of my extension clients have blonde extensions or dark virgin hair extensions that I customized completely. I always start by clarifying and usually follow with Malibu. I use permanent color to to create the custom color the first time. I touch it up with Demi when it fades. I always combine techniques to create a blend, which is another reason I color them myself instead of getting pre colored hair with dimension. This set I did some dimension pieces where I dragged the root halfway down. I did some reverse lowlight, using my tier lowlight technique. I did 2 pieces with an “M” shape root so when I fold the weft over, the lightness will be highest by the face. I’ll post pics of the install after the client comes in 🥺

Custom color VIRGIN hair extensions for a perfect match. I lifted virgin level 3 hair extensions to create a rich warm brown to match the client’s natural. She also has naturally dark hair so to left out the roots of the extensions so when her roots grow in they will still be a perfect match.
